How BCH Was Founded
While doing some research during his international travels, Andrew stumbled across the concept of wholesaling. After reading up on how the world of real estate was being revolutionized, he realized that some wholesalers were using unethical and predatory practices in their businesses. There was a need for GENUINE people in this industry. From that moment forward, Bowen Capital was founded on a serve first, profit second mentality. The goal is to always put sellers first, and provide our buyers with great deals while being totally transparent about the houses we sell.
Fast Forward to 2020, Andrew started coaching wholesaling alongside Adam Johnson and Brent Moreno (featured on Bigger Pockets, Carrot Cast, and other nationwide podcast channels) and taught over 100 students nationwide. Around this time, Andrew started to feel the presence of Institutions getting into the off-market space of real estate and pivoted his acquisition strategy to focus on sourcing SFRs for institutions. It wasn’t until he started selling deals for a large wholesaler out of CLT, did Bowen Capital really take shape as the disposition company it is today!
Leveraging the student relationships Andrew built nationwide, he was able to source deals in most markets that the institutions were eager to buy in. Andrew was also able to bring in the entire McClam family to start wholesaling (two brothers and his dad), as well as 6 of his best friends. We are proud to say that our client base of wholesalers is predominantly extremely trusted individuals who conduct their businesses with top-tier ethics and integrity.

We are a tight-knit team with over 50 years of combined experience in Real Estate and wholly dedicated to the craft.
Andrew was born and raised in Columbia, SC and still resides in Columbia, SC. For the past 4 years, he has built his business around JV partnerships and selling to Hedge Fund Buyers. He has closed hundreds of JV deals with 50+ wholesale partners and is a specialist in the wholesale field and understanding institutional trends. He has trained over 100 students nationwide on perfecting their acquisitions and dispositions processes. Outside of real estate, Andrew is an avid surfer and golfer.
Emalee has been in real estate for over 12 years and has closed over $200 million in total volume. She is a licensed Realtor in Ohio and passionate about the industry. Emalee oversees daily operations and has made it a priority to build and maintain relationships with our clients’ teams and our pool of buyers. She is extremely process driven and will do everything in her power to ensure that operations are as streamlined and efficient as possible. Outside of work, Emalee loves kayaking, painting, and being anywhere around water!
Shekah has an extensive background in working with real estate companies. She has been involved in various aspects of real estate for over 5 years. She works directly with our buyers every day submitting and negotiating deals. Shekah is at the front gate for Bowen Capital. She first will perform a quality control check to ensure that the property is within the buyers criteria. She is very thorough when it comes to evaluating submissions and will catch any errors or mistakes up front so we don’t waste our buyers time! Outside of work, she enjoys biking and tending to her garden!
Carlos has an eye for detail and has been in the industry for 5 years, managing the back office for real estate companies nationwide. He is our go to person for keeping track of deals and keeping databases up to date. His main task is to update our databases in real time and maintain our CRM, Paperless Pipeline. He also is in charge of many administrative tasks, inspection coordination tasks, and transaction coordination tasks. In his free time, Carlos enjoys playing music on his bass guitar and spending time with his daughter and wife.
With over 20 years of experience in Wholesaling and 800+ deals under his belt, Adam is one of the best coaches in the nation when it comes to acquisitions, negotiations, and deal evaluation.
